The Urologists at Specialty Physicians of Illinois, LLC, specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of male and female urinary tract and male reproductive organs for patients of all ages. Urologic organs include the kidneys, adrenal glands, bladder, ureters, urethra, testes, epididymis and prostate. Patients may have bladder or prostate cancer, kidney stones, urinary tract infections, and other genitourinary disorders as well as need treatments for incontinence. We specialize in medical and surgical means to treat our patients’ urological conditions and improve their overall quality of life.
Common urological issues include:
A kidney stone is a solid mass made up of tiny crystals. One or more stones can be in the kidney or ureter at the same time.
All men are at risk for prostate issues. Common prostate problems include Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) or Enlarged Prostate, Prostate Cancer and Prostatitis – the infection or inflammation of the prostate.
Urinary (or bladder) incontinence happens when you are not able to keep urine from leaking out of your urethra, the tube that carries urine out of your body from your bladder. You may leak urine from time to time. Or, you may not be able to hold any urine.
Urologic cancers include prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancers.
